UGG is committed to conducting business with the utmost respect for universal principles of human rights and responsible environmental practices. In 2016, we, as part of Deckers, joined the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative with over 9,500 participating companies.
As part of our UNGC commitments, we have focussed our efforts in the following areas where we believe we can make the most impact: Waste; Water; Materials; Chemicals; Climate & Clean Energy; Human Rights and Equality.
This partnership requires an annual statement of progress (our Corporate Responsibility Report), which shows our ongoing pledge to best practice at every level of the business.
Deckers Group has also adopted its own set of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), 7 By 2027, which focus on categories where Deckers Brands can make the most impact – Waste, Water, Materials, Chemicals, Climate & Clean Energy, Human Rights, and Gender Equality & Quality Education.

MATERIALS
(relates to SDG 12, 15)
Incorporate 50% more certified responsible and sustainable materials in our products (including recycled, renewable, regenerated and natural).

Substantially reduce waste generated at our facilities and partner facilities through refuse, reduction, recycling and reuse.
WATER

Reduce water usage and improve water quality throughout our operations and the communities in which we operate.

GENDER EQUALITY/REDUCED INEQUALITIES/QUALITY EDUCATION

Positively impact the communities where we operate, including assurance of industry-leading human rights practices within our supply chain.
"We will never remain stagnant and we promise to always challenge ourselves to do better, think bigger, be disruptive in the best possible way and question the impossible. We will create global change."
We are committed to playing our part to reach globally-agreed targets designed to protect our environment and communities. This hub is designed to share our FEEL GOOD commitments and initiatives in line with the UNGC goals and beyond.
